Becoming

Becoming is an aerial view of the land as it comes into view through cloud, as if it is being created before one's eyes. It was my response to the phrase "in the beginning". It is a metaphor also for the depths of our human character and nature, the parts little known being revealed to ourselves and to others. Becoming takes the background technique of Rosetta and Honeyjar and brings it to the foreground - those nascent, revealing bits are pieces created as background. Another metaphor, or perhaps a little artistic joke.
